The Role
We have an exciting role available as a Teacher, Individual Support, at TAFE Queensland's Roma Campus.
This position is available on a permanent full‐time basis and reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $92,930 - $116,332 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support – Aging/Disability or equivalent, and/or HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing with and the following:
* current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
* current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided
* evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment, including competency‐based training and assessment

Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor
* TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
* TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development
* A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials:
o TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor
o TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor
* A higher‐level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland)
Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
Highly Desirable
* HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Support Services
* High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems)
* Industry currency – experience in relevant work sector (Disability/Aged Care – minimum 2 years)
