**The Role**
Our client specializes in custom build solutions for the commercial construction industry. They have a dynamic team based in Dingley Village. They are seeking a motivated and organized Procurement Officer to work with the team leaders on exciting projects for leading global brands.
- Collaborate with team leaders to identify key vendors in Australia and overseas
- Prepare costings, quotations, and tenders
- Negotiate prices with vendors to ensure the best value for our clients
- Raise and place purchase orders with vendors
- Maintain documentation with an absolute attention to detail
**Requirements**:
- Experience in reading plans, drawings and specifications is highly valued however not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders quickly
- Good sense of humor and an approachable demeanor
