About The Role
Sante Recruitment is proud to partner with **Launceston General Hospital (LGH)** to recruit a **Staff Specialist Rheumatologist** to join a collaborative, research-focused team serving the **North of Tasmania**.
This position offers the opportunity to practice in a dynamic regional hospital environment while contributing to **undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and quality improvement**.
You Will
Provide **outpatient consultations** to public patients across Northern Tasmania. Deliver **specialist inpatient advice** and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Engage in **research and teaching**, supported by the Clifford Craig Foundation and the University of Tasmania. Work with supervision and collegial support from the **Rheumatology Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital**.
About You
To be successful, you will:
Hold **FRACP (Rheumatology)** or equivalent. Be eligible for **Specialist Registration with AHPRA**. Demonstrate a strong commitment to **patient-centred care**, teaching, and continuous improvement. Value collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
