Job Description:
We are seeking a customer-focused and experienced Senior Service Manager to join our Queensland building team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive prompt responses and follow up on all matters raised.
You will complete inspections in customers' homes after the service period finishes or when a new warranty case is registered, to qualify defects and disqualify non-defects and create scope of works for repairs with costings.
You will explain to customers how to use products and ensure that customers have all required manuals.
As part of your role, you will also conduct ad hoc site inspections for active jobs and ensure that on-site works are undertaken to both company and current industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure prompt responses and follow-up on all customer matters
* Complete inspections in customers' homes to identify defects and create repair plans
* Explain product usage and provide necessary manuals to customers
* Conduct ad hoc site inspections for active jobs
* Ensure on-site works meet company and industry standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A trade background in the construction industry (desirable)
* Experience in a customer service/contact role
* Experience in the building industry – preferably in the volume new-home environment
* Cert IV in Building (highly regarded)
* Self-management and leadership skills in a time-critical environment
* Working knowledge of Australian Building Codes, standards and regulations
