We have an exciting opportunity for a professional to join our team as a customer service expert in Geelong, reporting directly to the Trade Service Centre Manager.
You will thrive in an environment where customer satisfaction, sales and solutions are paramount. Your day will be varied as you handle sales and enquiries, merchandising, liaising with customers and suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
 * Provide exceptional customer service and manage the customer journey effectively
 * Welcome new and existing customers into showrooms with face-to-face selling skills
 * Actively promote products to generate sales and process orders efficiently
 * Handle merchandising, stock replenishment and warehouse stock control tasks
 * Generate quotations and engage with e-commerce platforms and social media channels
 * Manage Service Centre operations and coordinate production with factory staff members
 * Troubleshoot enquiries via phone and email efficiently
 * Coordinate logistics including transport and deliveries
 * Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage difficult customer situations
Skills and Qualifications
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
 * Previous retail, hardware or trade environment experience is highly regarded
 * Steel industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory
 * Face-to-face selling skills with an entrepreneurial spirit are required
 * Highly organized with excellent multitasking and attention to detail abilities
 * Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
 * A team player who can also work independently under pressure
