About the Role

* The Integrated Family Services Practitioner will provide casework within a collaborative alliance of community-based family services. The role involves direct case management to families, promoting child-centered and family-focused solutions.

* The practitioner will work closely with other professionals to drive meaningful improvements in systems and practice, building strong partnerships with government agencies and community organizations.

* A key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies, as well as contributing to program innovation and development.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality, family-focused case management that strengthens communities and empowers families.

2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive positive outcomes for vulnerable children and their families.

3. Build and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders to create lasting impact.

4. Ensure adherence to relevant laws and organizational policies.
">
5. Contribute to program development and innovation, driving adaptability and growth in response to evolving community needs.

6. Maintain a culture of safety and respect, prioritizing the well-being of children and families.

7. Advocate for and respond to the unique needs of diverse groups, including those with disabilities, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in social work, child development, psychology, or a related field.
">
* Experience in applying contemporary family violence theoretical frameworks in intervention with vulnerable children and parents with complex needs.
">
* Thorough understanding of child development and the issues faced by vulnerable children and families.
">
* Well-developed skills in assessing risks, needs, and safety for children and families.
">
