About the Role

About the Role This important position builds bridges between Aboriginal families, communities and our allied health team. As the Aboriginal Community Liaison, you will walk alongside clients and clinicians to ensure services are culturally safe, respectful and responsive.

* Build trusting relationships with Aboriginal families and communities
* Act as a cultural bridge between families and clinicians
* Support Aboriginal clients to understand and access the NDIS
* Co-design culturally safe programs and resources
* Provide cultural advice and support to clinicians
* Help coordinate and participate in community events such as NAIDOC and Reconciliation Week
* Contribute to service development, policy and reflective practice

About the Practice

We're passionate about making a real difference for families in regional and remote WA. Since 2017, we've led the way in paediatric allied health and mental health services across the North West. Our team of dedicated clinicians works creatively and collaboratively to overcome the unique challenges of remote service delivery. Based in Karratha, we're proud to offer high-quality, family-centred care to children across the Pilbara and beyond—both privately and through the NDIS. We believe every child deserves access to the support they need—no matter where they live.

Experience and Qualifications Required

You will thrive in this role if you:

* Are passionate about improving outcomes for Aboriginal children and families
* Have experience working in community, family or health settings
* Are confident engaging with stakeholders across government, non-government, and community groups
* Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Understand the importance of cultural safety in healthcare and disability services
* Are organised, compassionate, and community-minded

Desirable experience includes:

* Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and lived experience in workforce counselling or supporting families in crisis, particularly within Aboriginal communities.

Annual Salary Range (excluding superannuation)

80,000-85,000
