About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys café-style service, fresh ingredients, and working in a fast-paced but well-organised kitchen.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes
* Maintaining consistency, quality, and speed during service
* Assisting with food prep, stock rotation, and waste minimisation
* Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met
* Working collaboratively with front-of-house and management
About You
* Previous experience as a chef or cook in a café or similar venue
* Comfortable with breakfast and lunch service
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Pride in presentation and attention to detail
* Reliable, team-focused, and positive under pressure
* Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
