Hudson is seeking an experience Principal Data Analyst to play a key role in analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support business decisions for a large organisation. You will utilize a variety of analytical and business solution tools, with a focus on MS PowerBI and Excel, to create high-level analytical reports and presentations. Your ability to summarize complex data sets in a clear and non-technical manner will be crucial in driving actionable insights.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Utilize analytical and business solution tools, including MS PowerBI and Excel, to create high-level analytical reports and presentations.
- Prepare professional reports and effectively present information to support business decisions.
- Summarize, interpret, and communicate data sets in a non-technical manner.
- Assist in performing quality control over datasets.
- Conduct business analysis, interpret data, prepare reports, and identify core issues.
- Utilize advanced SQL skills and Microsoft Suite tools, particularly Excel and Power BI, including Data Analysis Expressions (DAX). Develop options, strategies, and recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience in the effective use of analytical and business solution tools, including MS PowerBI and Excel.
- Ability to create high-level analytical reports and presentations to support business decisions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present information in a clear and succinct manner.
- Experience in performing quality control over datasets.
- High-level experience in business analysis, including interpreting data, preparing reports, and identifying core issues.
- Advanced skills in SQL and the Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and Power BI, including Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
