The Recruitment People are a business providing Recruitment & HR Solutions. We are recruiting for our national client, assisting in their search for a Customer Service officer. **The role**:
Offering flexible hours of work, between 6am - 5.3pm (8 hour day, hours of your preference). As the Customer Service Officer, your role will be wide-ranging, with both administration and phone work. You will be expected to:
- Processing orders in the ERP System
- Support the sales team by sending technical information and quotes
- Processing stock returns and account credits
- Keep customers up to date with their orders
- Organise export of products as and when required, liaising with shipping agents and transport companies
- Check stock levels and inventory
- General administrative tasks as appropriate
**Applicant requirements**
We are looking for applicants who:
- Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, ideally in a role with more technical / industrial type product
- Proficient user of an ERP system or similar, for creating quotes / sales orders
- Is detail-orientated with a high level of accuracy
- Previous experience of export, inventory and stock would be highly advantageous
- A team player who takes on challenges with energy and enthusiasm
- Is looking for a long term and rewarding career within a growing organisation.
- Has previously worked in rail / civil industry sectors, or has an understanding of these sectors, would be highly advantageous but not essential
