Psychiatrist - Multidisciplinary Team
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team as a Psychiatrist. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality psychiatric care to individuals within the justice system. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychiatric outpatient clinics, leading the team, participating in clinical reviews, and supervising other clinicians.
About the Role:
* You will have flexible work arrangements, including 3 days onsite per week and 1 session per fortnight delivered remotely via telehealth.
* You will have onsite support from a full-time Registrar, enhancing clinical collaboration and continuity of care.
* You will contribute to recovery-focused, trauma-informed care in a secure setting.
* You will have opportunities for involvement in teaching, supervision, and research (if desired).
Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychiatric outpatient clinics for individuals within the justice system.
* Lead the multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality psychiatric care.
* Participate in clinical reviews and provide expert advice on complex cases.
* Supervise other clinicians to ensure high-quality care is provided.

About You:
* You must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), or equivalent.
* Experience in forensic psychiatry is desirable but not essential – training and support provided.
* You must have a strong interest in multidisciplinary, person-centred care.
* You must be willing to work onsite at a secure correctional facility.
* You must have up-to-date immunisations.
* You must have a satisfactory Police Check and compliance with Infection Control requirements.
