Persistent/Chronic Pain Physiotherapists play a vital role in providing high-quality specialist physiotherapy services to clients with complex needs.
* Clinical Expertise: Apply advanced clinical reasoning and expertise to plan, coordinate and implement specialised care for patients and their families.
* Service Delivery: Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services that meet the unique needs of each client.
* Teamwork: Support and mentor junior physiotherapists, technical staff and students to ensure effective teamwork and collaboration.
* Quality Improvement: Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical services to improve patient outcomes.
* Clinical Research: Engage in clinical research and lead educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
* Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside a psychologist in the Chronic Pain Service on Tuesday and Friday to provide comprehensive care.
