About the Role (Can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney)
We are seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor to support the delivery of high‑value, high‑complexity, and high‑risk infrastructure projects across the Energy & Utilities sector. With a strong focus on transmission lines, substations, and major capital works, this role plays a critical part in shaping procurement strategies and executing sourcing and subcontracting activities during bids, tenders, and project mobilisation.
Working closely with the Procurement & Contracts Manager, you will contribute to procurement planning, manage subcontract packages, and support the negotiation and award of contracts. You will also play a key role in managing international supply channels, specialised equipment procurement, and long‑lead items essential to project success.
Key Accountabilities
* Support procurement and subcontracting activities across bids, tenders, and mobilisation phases.
* Develop procurement strategies, plans, and tender returnables in collaboration with the Procurement & Contracts Manager.
* Manage sourcing and contracting of subcontract packages across civil, electrical, and specialist scopes.
* Coordinate procurement of international supply, specialised equipment, and long‑lead items.
* Assist in contract negotiations and prepare documentation for award recommendations.
* Provide commercial insights and procurement advice to project teams and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with procurement governance, risk frameworks, and commercial standards.

* Experience developing procurement plans, tender documentation, and sourcing strategies.
