Bakers Delight Dickson is seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled baker who is passionate about producing high-quality breads and bakery products in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads and baked goods while maintaining the quality and standards Bakers Delight is known for.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and bake a wide range of breads, rolls and specialty bakery products in accordance with established recipes and production schedules
* Measure and combine ingredients, mix and knead doughs, and manage fermentation and proofing processes
* Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent product quality
* Shape, mould and finish dough products prior to baking
* Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards within the bakery
* Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation and daily production planning
Requirements
* Relevant baking qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Experience working in a commercial bakery environment
* Strong knowledge of bread production processes and baking techniques
* Ability to work early morning shifts in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
