Our client provides mechanical services from design, construction and commissioning through to service, maintenance, technical advice and support. They are a leader in the mechanical services projects and preventative maintenance sector.
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical BIM Modeller to join the growing team in Morningside QLD. This role will focus primarily on producing detailed and accurate shop drawings for both manufacture and site installation & mentoring/guiding others though strong leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with engineers to model systems.
* Coordinate with other disciplines to identify and resolve potential clashes.
* Generate fabrication and installation drawings from BIM models.
* Develop, set up, and maintain BIM families to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects.
* Stay current on BIM technologies and best practices.
About You
* Strong knowledge and experience using BIM software – REVIT essential, Navisworks.
* 5-10 years+ Industry Experience is a MUST.
* Strong collaboration and coordination experience with multidisciplinary teams.
* Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred but not essential).
* A proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver under pressure.
