By overseeing the integration of web platforms, automation, and AI-driven tools, the Digital Experience Manager ensures that the entire student journey is supported through seamless, personalised, and impactful digital communications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead efforts to identify and implement cutting-edge digital solutions, immersive content experiences, and personalised user journeys, to enhance the digital presence of the university.
* Inspire and lead a high-performing digital experience team, including web developers and email automation specialists within the immediate team, across the wider department and across the university, to foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
* Successfully manage large-scale digital projects, including website redesigns, mobile app development, and data analytics initiatives, from conception to completion ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Ensure web, automation, and digital campaign strategies complement each other, supported by strong content governance and accessibility standards.
* Successfully leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions, optimise user journeys, measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
* Strong leadership skills as evidenced through extensive experience in digital experience management, digital strategy, automation, or related roles within complex organisations.
* Demonstrated ability to organise, plan, and deliver digital initiatives including web, automation, and AI-driven activities along with the capability to investigate challenges and develop innovative, student-focused solutions.
* Demonstrated high level written communication skills, including the ability to produce and maintain a range of documentation including business process maps and procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Deep understanding of web technologies, digital communication systems, content management systems, and digital analytics.
