We are looking for a high-performing, driven and entrepreneurial
Principal Consultant
to join our Executive Recruitment team. This senior role combines
Business Development
and
Technical Recruitment
, sourcing and placing white- and blue-collar professionals across construction, trades, manufacturing, government, scientific or any sector you specialise in.
Key Responsibilities
Source, screen and place technical and professional candidates across chosen sectors.
Manage and nurture long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
Proactively identify new business opportunities and drive growth with speed to market and quality recruitment.
Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process with integrity and professionalism, demonstrating value in structured professional submissions and finding hard-to-find candidates.

What You'll Bring
Proven recruitment experience (perm) ideally within construction, trades, industrial, or other sectors – we're flexible to all industry backgrounds.
Proven track record in building a client portfolio and sourcing hard-to-find candidates through headhunting in a competitive market.
Strong business development and relationship management skills – we want long-term clients, not transactional supply.
A proactive, results-driven attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to multi-task and deliver strong outcomes quickly.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A genuine focus on candidate care and building deep client relationships.
Ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team.
