Job Title: Director of Pathology
Role Summary: Mater Health is seeking a Director of Pathology to oversee the clinical governance of the laboratory and manage staff and processes for ethical patient care and accurate test results.
About the Role:This full-time position is based at our South Brisbane campus and reports to the General Manager – Pathology for operational aspects and the Mater Chief Medical Officer for medical, professional, and clinical governance. The Director will operate in a clinical capacity for 70% of the role, participating as a Clinical Leader within Mater Group and contributing to the leadership of Mater Pathology.
The ideal candidate will have AHPRA registration as an Approved Pathology Practitioner and meet specific criteria, including experience in a leadership role, effective communication skills, and knowledge of the Medical Benefits Schedule.
