About the role
The Reach Stacker Operator plays a key role in supporting decommissioning operations across multiple sites. Working as part of a small, focused team, the operator ensures safe, efficient handling of containers and cargo using a Reach Stacker with rotator attachment within controlled environments.
NOTE: THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL POSITION. FIFO APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Location: Karratha, WA
Specific Responsibilities
* Operate Reach Stacker (up to 45-tonne) safely and efficiently, including use of rotator attachment.
* Load, unload, and reposition containers in accordance with Safe Working Instructions.
* Maintain smooth flow of transport through operational yards.
* Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
* Care for equipment and assets under your control.
* Communicate effectively and contribute to problem‐solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure strict quarantine management compliance for all material and cargo handling.
* Safely load/unload trucks of various configurations, ensuring correct physical receipting and manual handling practices.
* Always follow Chain of Responsibility principles.
* Perform any other reasonable tasks within your capability and training.
Essential Skills & Experience
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role
* Computer literate and experienced in MS Office Suite
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (Car)
* Current Forklift Licence (LF)
* Current Reach Stacker competency
* Chain of Responsibility qualification
* Riggers Licence
* Pro‐active, goal‐oriented with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet Qube Energy expectations
* Effectively manages change to tasks and the work environment, and assists others with adapting to change
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
* A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments
