We’re currently seeking a reliable and experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our team on a weekend-only basis.
Position: Weekend Hotel Receptionist
Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
About the Role: As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience from check-in to check-out. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, can work independently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out
* Manage reservations and guest enquiries
* Operate the RMS property management system efficiently
* Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-in bookings
* Delegate tasks to the housekeeping team
* Process payments and maintain accurate records
* Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
* Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable
* Opening and closing of the reception
About You:
* Previous hotel reception experience is essential
* Strong working knowledge of RMS - *Preferred*
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Well-presented, organised, and detail-oriented
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Must be reliable
* Housekeeping experience also a bonus
