Job Description
* Lead and develop a high‑performing Demand Planning team, fostering capability growth and continuous improvement.
* 5 days onsite - 8am-5pm.
* Build and maintain 12‑24 month rolling demand forecasts across retail, foodservice, and export channels.
* Analyse historical sales, market trends, and promotional activity to generate accurate, data‑driven forecasts.
* Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to integrate new products, promotions, and market insights into demand plans.
* Drive the monthly S&OP process, presenting forecast performance, key variances, and demand assumptions to stakeholders.
* Recommend production and procurement adjustments based on demand insights, capacity constraints, and business priorities.
* Monitor and report on forecasting KPIs (MAPE, bias), service levels, and inventory health, delivering insights to senior management.
* Maintain planning system data and support ongoing process optimisation across forecasting, inventory, and supply chain functions.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Demand Planning Manager Should Have:
* Experience within the Food Manufacturing industry is ESSENTIAL.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
* People Management experience.
* Proficiency in demand planning tools and software.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
* A results‑oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
* Formal qualifications in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
