**About the Role**
A great opportunity for an experienced leader to join BOQ Group as an ECDD Team Leader This position will be responsible for leading teams in the ECDD function for the Bank, and ensuring the AML / CTF operational objectives are met. You will provide advice, leadership and guidance to the ECDD function
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the ECDD team and for inspiring, developing and maintaining a high performance team within a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Leadership, coaching, development, support and advice to staff in conjunction with day to day management of their team.
- Oversees the team workflow in order to achieve all service levels to the agreed quality standards whilst ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
- Implementation and maintenance of MI reporting in order to evaluate the operational production of the team.
- Assisting management with ongoing maintenance of relevant policies, desktop procedures, guidance and checklists.
**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Proven experience in leading teams within an AML / investigations environment
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of AML / CTF legislations and AUSTRAC reporting requirements
- Prior experience within a medium sized financial services institution
- Operational team leadership experience preferably within the Sanctions/AML/CTF environment
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Exceptional customer service, with client focus in all aspects of work
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
