Your New Role and Responsibilities
The MSS Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for Service Delivery Manager to work in our Melbourne, Victoria office. This is a wonderful opportunity to draw on your experience to meaningfully contribute to the Bureau of Meteorology mission. In this mission, we work together to support our Enterprise Data Platform, which plays an important role in delivering accurate weather information to communities across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Champion the end‐to‐end service wellbeing of the Geospatial Platform, nurturing its availability, stability, and performance across production and non‐production environments.
* Provide supportive, day‐to‐day operational guidance to the sustainment team, helping ensure issues are thoughtfully triaged, prioritised, and resolved.
* Encourage readiness for releases and environment changes, partnering closely with RUN, enhancements, and technical leads to ensure smooth transitions.
* Monitor and share insights on SLA performance, operational metrics, and commercial outcomes, contributing to informed decision‐making.
* Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, the customer, and other vendors.
* Identify and shape opportunities for continuous service improvement, enhancing processes, tools, and team capability.
About You and What You'll Bring
* ITIL v4 Foundation or higher (strongly preferred).
* Certifications in Service Integration and Management (SIAM), PRINCE2, Agile (Scrum/SAFe/Kanban), or equivalent delivery frameworks are valued.
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
* Must be an Australian citizen and hold a baseline security clearance.
