This role is based in Williamtown, NSW.We are a leading employer that values flexibility, development, and collaboration, offering a nurturing culture and opportunities to grow your career.ResponsibilitiesSupport all contract activity including the drafting and negotiation of complex terms and conditions and associated agreements with customers, along with negotiation of contract changes and management of claims.Interface with customers on contract matters; support all Contract and Bid Status Reviews.Responsible for all commercial aspects of business winning.Lead, support and develop junior members of the team.Draft moderately complex contracts/agreements with minimal supervision.Deliver contract budgets and ensure commercial interface with Procurement/Supply Chain; flow down of contract requirements.Prepare and deliver Commercial Management Plans and negotiation strategies; lead negotiating teams where appropriate.About You / QualificationsExtensive experience in a Commercial role.Relevant tertiary qualifications.Robust written and oral communication skills; ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Ability to apply and tailor commercial and business processes under appropriate delegation of authority.Experience in leading or supporting moderately complex negotiations.Understanding of estimating discipline and how estimating input impacts contracts.Problem-solving ability for non-routine issues; ability to work independently with initiative.Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with SharePoint and Oracle is desirable.Ability to hold and maintain Defence Security Clearance; ITAR applicability may affect suitability.Employment detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustries: Newspaper PublishingWe welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to an inclusive workplace.
