*The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Allied Health Assistant - Senior to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide a defined range of specialised clinical screening assessments for clients with complex needs
Initiate changes to treatment programs and recommend treatment
Lead a defined range of group interventions for clients
Refer to and liaise with health care providers
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Driver Licence
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

About Us
Chronic Disease and Post Acute Programs provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary, community-based service to adult clients over the age of 18 years. The service operates within Integrated Care Services, in the Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Community Services' service line in the Division of Medicine and provides multidisciplinary care to clients experiencing chronic illness and clients recently discharged from the acute hospitals.
