We're seeking a dedicated Hydrotherapy Pool Lifeguard to support the safe delivery of allied health and NDIS-funded therapy programs within a clinical hydrotherapy environment. This isn't your typical aquatic centre role, you'll be working alongside physiotherapists, exercise physiotherapists, occupational therapists and support teams to create a safe, inclusive space for people with disability, injury and complex health needs.

About the Role
Reporting to the Allied Health Operations Manager, you will:
* Actively supervise hydrotherapy pool sessions, deck area and access points
* Maintain participant safety during NDIS and allied health therapy programs
* Monitor participants for signs of fatigue, distress, pain or medical deterioration
* Respond confidentially to aquatic, medical or behavioural emergencies
* Perform rescues, CPR and First Aid as required
* Support safe entry and exit from the pool (including hoists and mobility equipment)
* Ensure emergency access routes and equipment remain clear and operational
* conduct water quality testing and monitor hydrotherapy pool conditions
* Maintain infection control and hygiene standards in line with healthcare requirements
* Complete accurate incident, hazard and attendance documentation
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team
What we are looking for
* Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Royal Life Saving or equivalent)
* Current CPR and Provide First Aid Certificates (HLTAID011 or equivalent)
* Working with Vulnerable People Check WWVP/RWVP
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Physical capacity to perform aquatic rescues and manual handling tasks
* Experience in hydrotherapy, rehabilitation or allied health environments
* Experience supporting NDIS participants with physical, neurological or cognitive disabilities
* Knowledge of WHS and infection control in disability or healthcare settings
