Perfect Stranger is seeking a creative, inspiring, and dedicated retail leader to step into the Store Manager role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on motivating a team, shaping store culture, and creating memorable customer experiences. The successful candidate will work a Tuesday–Saturday roster, including late night trade and weekends.
Responsibilities
* Lead day to day store operations with a strong floor presence.
* Inspire, coach, and develop a large, diverse team to create future leaders.
* Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service expectations.
* Drive sales results and ensure store profitability through cost and productivity management.
* Oversee rostering, budgets, and scheduling to meet business and payroll targets.
* Maintain visual merchandising, presentation standards, and store efficiencies.
* Recruit, train, and support team members with clear, honest and constructive feedback.
* Uphold and model Perfect Stranger’s behavioural expectations, culture, and brand values.
Skills and Experience
* Strong retail background with hands on experience across stockroom and shop floor.
* Proven leadership experience as a Store Manager, leading medium to large teams.
* Warm, enthusiastic communicator who leads with positivity and purpose.
* Ability to adapt in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
* High attention to detail with a strong understanding of retail profitability.
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales results.
* Confident in delivering feedback and communicating effectively at all levels
