About the Position
We are seeking a skilled professional to support blasting and painting operations across marine projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role is crucial in maintaining quality, safety, and technical standards on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure project activities align with approved plans, procedures, and specifications.
* Monitor blasting and painting works for compliance with quality standards and technical requirements.
* Promote a strong safety culture and collaborative team environment.
* Execute inspection and testing protocols (ITPs) and uphold quality, safety, environmental, and technical commitments.
* Participate in planning, conduct risk assessments, and perform quality audits.
* Inspect materials and verify documentation against technical specifications.
* Identify non-conformances, manage corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* NACE Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level 2 certification is mandatory.
* Prior experience in infrastructure, marine, or asset remediation projects involving blasting, painting, and concrete repair is highly valued.
* Technical knowledge of surface preparation, protective coatings, application processes, and hazardous substances is essential.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are required.
* Proficiency in QA/QC documentation and ITPs is necessary.
* Competency with Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage.
