The Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Cold Larder team as Junior Sous Chef
In this role, you will:
* Assist the Chef De Cuisine with successful daily operations.
* Lead and coach team members to maintain high standards.
* Support training initiatives, including HACCP procedures.
* Contribute to budget preparation and management.
* Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and taste.
* Apply your experience from premium hotel environments to elevate service and culinary standards.
About You
You'll bring the following:
* Prior experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
* Demonstrated experience in people management and team development.
* Proven background working in 4- or 5-star hotel kitchens, with a strong understanding of luxury service expectations.
* Experience in training and empowering others to achieve excellence.
* Strong knowledge and commitment to equal opportunity, ethical practice, and occupational health and safety.
* Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
Qualifications
Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery.
