Senior Logistics Development Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to oversee the successful development and delivery of a major logistics project. This is a senior leadership role requiring extensive project management expertise in the infrastructure sector.
The Project Director will lead and manage all aspects of the Project from concept development through to completion, including providing oversight and project leadership across scoping, forecasting, risk management, procurement, and supplier engagement to finance, design, construct, and operate the Project.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering, commerce, economics, finance, law, or a related field.
* A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including experience in energy or infrastructure projects valued at up to $100m+, client-side project management experience within Government, exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and secure beneficial outcomes, and proven success in developing and delivering infrastructure projects within a government setting.
Familiarity with working out of an office on a regular basis, strong understanding of infrastructure technical standards and engineering design principles, knowledge of government legislation, policy, procurement processes, and practices related to major project delivery, experience coordinating with environmental and property disciplines during infrastructure planning, and familiarity with various contractual models, including Design & Construct and PPP frameworks, are desirable.
