The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Director will work closely with the Senior Management team and trusted external consultants to ensure financial governance and risk management programs are in place to support our current operations and exciting growth agenda.
This is more than a finance role; it is an opportunity to support and shape the business as it grows.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide high level financial and commercial guidance and support to our business leaders.
* Deliver reliable cashflow projections, budgets & forecasts.
* Oversee and enhance financial reporting and deliver insights that inform business-critical decisions.
* Maintain strong governance, compliance & risk management.
* Work in with internal and external accountants, plus external finance Consultants.
* Champion process improvements and systems optimisation across finance and operations.
About You
Ideally CA/CPA qualified with a track record of success in senior finance leadership roles in a relevant industry i.e. Waste Management, Major Projects, Infrastructure, Civil or Transport.
In addition to performing general financial duties, you'll need strong competency with technology and systems, excellent financial analysis skills, a commercial outlook and willingness to provide advice and support to the senior leadership group.
You are an engaging leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills. As a solution focused individual, you will inspire confidence and work well with stakeholders across the business, in addition to our trusted external advisors.
