We are seeking a Registered Midwife for permanent part time contract on our Obstetric ward. You will take time with patients and their families supporting them through every step of their journey to being a parent.
The Position
- Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
- Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the ward and within the hospital.
- Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
- Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.
- Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.

- Salary: $79,755 - $102,048 (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
