The Attorney-General's Department is seeking candidates to fill current and future vacancies across various positions at the APS Level 5 classification. The department achieves this by conducting a Talent Pipeline Process. This process will be used to create a merit pool to fill vacancies at this level across the department and may be used to fill similar vacancies anywhere in Australia, for the duration of the merit pool.

This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced candidates who can deliver influential and positive policy contributions to the Government's legal agenda for the good of the Australian people.

The department performs a vast range of functions and we are looking for high-performing candidates in the following areas:

* Justice and Communities Group is responsible for key aspects of Australia's justice system, including the federal courts, tribunals and the family law system.
* Integrity and International Group has legislative and policy responsibility for administrative law, information law, anti-corruption and fraud, human rights, modern slavery and human trafficking.
* National Security and Criminal Justice Group is responsible for a range of national security and criminal justice laws and policies, including transnational serious and organised crime, cybercrime, cross-border data access, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism, counter-espionage and foreign interference, electronic surveillance and law enforcement and criminal intelligence powers.
* Enabling Services Group supports the department's corporate and organisational operations, including strategy and governance, human resources, corporate services, and information and communications technology.
