This role is part of the Client Team, which is also the Project Principal Contractor delivering this landmark manufacturing project.The ProjectYou will work on a significant $500 million infrastructure project in Yatala, creating a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that will:- Utilize cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices- Represent one of the largest investments of its kind in QueenslandKey ResponsibilitiesProvide contract support across the project for claims, variations, and complianceDevelop and maintain contract documentation, Contract Administration Plans, correspondence, and registersReview contractor compliance regarding insurances, licensing, and management plansAssist with HSE audits, contractor compliance, and breachesPrepare and maintain Risk Registers and Management models for reportingCoordinate with commercial, finance, procurement, and project teams to resolve equipment delivery, invoicing, and payment issuesSupport project managers with report formatting and data extractionAssess contractor claims and prepare Payment CertificatesAssist with project budget reporting and forecastingManage document and standards administrationHandle expense and travel managementAbout YouThe ideal candidate will possess:A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Business/Commerce, Law, or equivalent, or 10+ years of industry experience in a major projects commercial or contracts roleMinimum 5 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator in a construction environmentStrong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislationAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Proficiency in Adobe ProUnderstanding of document control processesExperience with SharePoint and similar softwareFamiliarity with project correspondence and document management systems such as Aconex, Asite, or CommniaAbility to work effectively with highly technical teamsStrong cross-cultural communication skillsAbility to conceptualize and plan procurement activitiesSkills in data analysis and presentationUnderstanding of commercial management within construction projectsPosition ContextThis role is based at the Yatala construction site, working 5 days a weekAbility to work virtually and collaboratively in a team environment is essentialWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary package of $130,000-$160,000 plus superannuation, based on experienceOpportunity to contribute to a landmark infrastructure project in QueenslandProfessional development and exposure to industry-leading practicesCollaborative team environment with experienced professionalsHow to ApplyIf you meet the above criteria, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for this role.This position is being recruited by Rimcorp on behalf of our client.
