**Job Opportunity for Skilled Light Vehicle Technician**
Hansen's Automotive & Gas in Toowoomba, Queensland seeks a qualified and enthusiastic Light Vehicle Mechanic/Auto Technician to join their team full-time.
In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping customers' vehicles running safely and efficiently.
Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and repairs will help us deliver high-quality service that our workshop is known for.
* Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical and suspension problems.
* Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, and tyre rotations.
* Conduct vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or services.
* Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex mechanical problems.
* Evaluate all work completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Maintain detailed records of all work performed.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Australian recognised Light Vehicle Mechanic Trade Qualification.
* Australian Driver's license.
* Ability to supply own tools.
* Proven experience with vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault diagnostics across various vehicle types.
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
* Possession of an unlimited Australian work visa.
* Safety Certificate Licence preferred but not required.
* Two professional referees available upon request.
