Job Description Job Number Commis Chef (HOT0C47M) Work Locations Hilton Adelaide 233 Victoria Square Adelaide **** Responsibilities As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for: Ensuring consistent, high-quality food production in line with Hilton's standards.
Preparing all mis en place for relevant menus.
Contributing to kitchen revenue through effective food cost control.
Providing support to the Kitchen brigade and other departments.
Keeping all working areas clean, tidy, and free of cross contamination.
Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues.
Complying with hotel security, fire regulations and all health, safety and food safety legislation.
Meeting health and hygiene requirements and being environmentally aware.
Striving to achieve departmental targets as part of the team.
Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef.
NVQ Level
1. Positive attitude and good communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
Proof of completion of a basic food hygiene course.
Completion of an accredited commercial cookery course or trade apprenticeship.
Experience multi tasking in an environment with rigorous standards.
