About the role This is a hands on Store Manager role responsible for the day to day leadership and performance of a medium sized supermarket. Leading a team of 20-30, you will oversee store standards, team engagement, stock management and commercial performance while ensuring customers receive a consistently great shopping experience. You will have the autonomy to drive the store like it is your own, building a strong team culture and delivering results across sales, margins and operational excellence. What you will do Lead, coach and develop a team Oversee daily store operations and maintain high retail standards Drive sales performance and manage key store KPIs Manage stock, ordering, inventory and supplier relationships Ensure strong merchandising and store presentation Deliver outstanding customer service and community engagement What you will bring Previous supermarket or high-volume retail leadership experience Strong team leadership with the ability to motivate and develop others Solid understanding of supermarket operations and stock control Commercial mindset with the ability to drive sales and performance Metcash experience highly regarded A hands on leadership style with a strong work ethic What's in it for you!
