About the opportunity
The Audiology Director provides high level strategic and professional leadership and governance to the Audiology workforce across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (Townsville HHS), including operational and professional management.
The position is required to apply expert clinical knowledge and skills, and high-level leadership and management skills to provide authoritative counsel of Audiology services across Townsville HHS to the Executive Director Allied Health, other discipline directors and other relevant stakeholders (including state-wide groups) relating to the safe and efficient delivery of Audiology services in line with Townsville HHS, state and national priorities.

- Salary range: $6191.80 - $6409.40 p.f. (HP6)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading

Requirements:
- Possession of a tertiary degree in Audiology from a recognised tertiary institution and full membership with Audiology Australia.
- The position may be required to work across any of the sites / facilities within the Townsville Hospital and Health service based on current service needs and priorities. Possession of a C motor vehicle licence is required.
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
