About the role:
The successful applicant will join our maintenance team to provide maintenance support to our manufacturing plant and equipment. You will assist with project installation and commissioning. This role is working afternoon shift, 1:54pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
• Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs and rebuilds to equipment throughout the site
• New equipment installation and commissioning
• Advanced fault finding and diagnosing breakdowns on machinery
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to facilitate seamless operations
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations
• Assisting external contractors as directed to carry out breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the site and collaborate on specific projects
• Assist in maintaining quality accreditations (i.e.: Feedsafe, HACCP, DAFF etc)
Requirements:
• Certificate III in Electro Technology and Electrician and/or Certificate III Electronics
• A minimum of five (5) years trade experience
• Experience with automated machinery, PLCs, robotics
• Experience within a food production environment is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of current electrical standards
• Ability to read and understand/modify electrical schematic drawings
• Proven ability to problem solve and fault find electrical circuits
• Proven electrical control for effective machine guarding
• High level mechanical aptitude
• Excellent workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team member
• Be productive to complete tasks within set time frames
• Hold a current driver's licence
• WP high risk licence
• Experience using CMS (Upkeep) maintenance software (desirable)
• Experience working in a similar industry (desirable)
• PLS & SCADA programming (desirable)
