Join LawY as the 2IC to our Head of Marketing – a start‐up within an established global business shaping the future of AI in legal tech. The role is flexible, hybrid in Sydney – 2 days a week in the office.

Now it's available as a standalone subscription, expanding from trusted legal research into drafting, contract intelligence, and matter analysis.

You'll be joining at the most exciting inflection point: we've proven product‐market fit, our users genuinely love what we've built, and we're scaling a solution that lawyers actually want to adopt. If you want to build something that genuinely helps people do meaningful work better, this is it.

What You'll Do

* Strategise, execute, optimise, and amplify end‐to‐end marketing campaigns across content, email, events, and partnerships to support both immediate sales goals and long‐term brand building.
* Manage stakeholders across functions, present to senior leadership when necessary, and confidently push back as needed to steer marketing decisions in the right direction.
* Champion our brand story by developing our voice, defining messaging, crafting compelling copy, and advocating consistency across internal teams and external partners.
* Collaborate extensively with product, engineering, ops, and the new sales function to drive key marketing objectives.
* Own the numbers through monitoring performance, advocating methodical testing and optimisation, and identifying new growth opportunities and channels.
* Assist with ad‐hoc marketing and support tasks across the team.

Qualifications

* 5–7 years of B2B marketing experience in a startup, scale‐up, agency, or tech environment where ambiguity and shifting goal posts are part of the job.
* Some team management experience.
* Generalist experience across multiple channels – paid, content, brand, events, email, and partnerships – rather than a single speciality.
* Track record of running campaigns end‐to‐end, from strategy through execution to measurement and optimisation.
* Proficiency in HubSpot, Webflow (or equivalents), and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalents).

* Strong copywriting skills and a sharp eye for messaging, able to write for lawyers or any technical, sceptical audience and elevate the brand through the words on the page.
