The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and mechanically minded Manufacturing Technician to join our high-performance production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background - such as a former mechanic, fitter or technician - who is looking to apply their hands-on expertise in a precision manufacturing environment.
Working on advanced cooling technology used in elite motorsport, aerospace and defence applications, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, quality standards are upheld, and best practices are maintained. You will also act as a role model on the floor, supporting and guiding less experienced team members while maintaining exceptional workmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Work across specialised production areas as required.
* Troubleshoot and resolve process and production issues.
* Optimise workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Prepare and assemble high-performance cooling components with precision.
* Interpret technical drawings and job specifications accurately.
* Conduct detailed visual and technical inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
* Provide guidance and on-the-job support to less experienced team members.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with safety procedures.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Monitor material usage and report discrepancies.
* Undertake additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.
Key Competencies
* Strong mechanical background with several years’ experience in a technical or trade-based role (e.g. mechanic, fitter, technician or similar).
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or production issues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is highly regarded.
* Strong understanding of safety and quality standards within a manufacturing environment.
* Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and waste reduction.
