Leading investment manager is looking to add a Senior Corporate Accountant with a minimum of 5 years' experience to their team.
About the Company & Role
Platinum Pacific Partners has a longstanding exclusive partnership with a leading global infrastructure investment firm based in Melbourne. The firm has a long-term presence and commitment to both private and listed markets and is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their fund finance team.
The firm is renowned for its performance, reputation, and collaborative culture. This is a pivotal role within the finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager, providing financial, management, board, tax, and investor reporting across the fund and associated entities. The role involves close collaboration with the investment, tax, legal, compliance, and investor solutions teams, offering a broad exposure to fund operations and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly unit pricing, management accounts, and board reporting.
Statutory financial reporting and audit coordination.
Tax compliance, including trust distributable income and company tax calculations.
Treasury and liquidity management.
Investor and fund performance reporting.
Process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
Skills & Experience
CA or CPA qualified with 4–8 years post-qualification experience, ideally within funds or investment management; candidates from large audit / accounting firms with relevant client experience will also be considered.
Strong technical skills in financial reporting, consolidations, and tax.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Experience navigating regulatory requirements and maintaining robust internal controls.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
