About you:
In your new role you will……
- Conduct regular rounding of wards/units providing oversight and leadership in consultation with the team leaders by ensuring workloads are managed, breaks are planned and taken and patients who require increased supervision are reviewed with appropriate resource allocation for the provision of safe clinical care.
- Provide leadership and monitoring nursing and midwifery practice to ensure national standards are being met, completing monitoring and surveillance under the direction of the Facility Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
- Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing, midwifery, operational and administration staff, and monitors staff practices and implementation.
