Diesel Fitter – Trucks, Tractors & Mobile Plant

💰 $50 – $65 per hour (based on experience)
🕖 7:00am – 4:00pm | Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturdays
🛠 6-Month Probation
We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join a well-established and busy workshop on the Sunshine Coast.
If you love working on trucks, tractors, mobile plant, marine and heavy equipment – but not vehicles – this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role
You’ll be working on a variety of diesel-powered machinery including:
* Trucks
* Tractors
* Mobile plant & earthmoving equipment
* Marine engines
* General heavy diesel equipment
This is primarily a workshop-based role, however there is an opportunity to get involved in:
* Breakdown response
* After-hours field service work
* Operating a fully equipped field service truck
If field service interests you, a truck licence will be required (or willingness to obtain one). Options and support may be available for the right candidate.

* Excellent hourly rate: $50 – $65 per hour
* Stable Monday–Friday hours (7am–4pm)

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is trade qualified as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
* Has experience with trucks, plant, agricultural or marine equipment
* Can diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
* Is reliable and takes pride in their workmanship
* Is open to field service work (optional but desirable)
* Holds a truck licence or is willing to obtain one (if field service is of interest)
