Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced and independent Commercial Account Manager to drive business growth, strengthen partnerships, and expand MSI's presence in key market segments. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate would be customer-focused, enthusiastic, and results-driven.
Key Responsibilities: Market Expansion & Brand Presence – Strengthen MSI's visibility and influence within resellers, key accounts, and industry segments. Strategic Partnerships & Business Growth – Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, integrators, and service providers while driving long-term account development. Sales & Business Development – Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline management to deal closure and revenue forecasting. Go-to-Market Execution – Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to strengthen MSI's presence in the corporate, government, education, and SMB sectors. Education Sector Strategy – Develop, manage, and execute sales strategies for the education vertical within the assigned state/region. Product & Market Expertise – Gain in-depth knowledge of MSI's product portfolio to enhance market positioning and competitive advantage. Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams, including product management, sales, and HQ, to align business goals and drive success. Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, management, and strategic thinking abilities.
Passion: A strong enthusiasm for cutting-edge PC hardware, emerging technologies, and a deep passion for MSI's PC products.
Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of IT hardware and extensive knowledge of business development tools and processes.
Customer Relationship Management: Proven track record in building and maintaining trusted advisor-level relationships with clients.
Client Service: Outstanding client service abilities paired with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Collaboration: A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional departments.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Industry Experience: Ideal candidates should have experience working with an IT vendor, distributor, or reseller to effectively drive market growth and engagement in the education sector. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel interstate, meet with customers, and support offline events as required. Language Skills: Proficiency in English. Working Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane (Sydney Hybrid Mon to Thurs in Office Fri WFH, Melbourne & Brisbane remote)
