Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse - Youth Home Hospital Service
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our innovative Youth Home Hospital Service in Tasmania. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with young people, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
* Provide direct care and support to young people in their homes, including biopsychosocial assessments, therapeutic engagement, and monitoring of mental state.
* Contribute to the development and revision of organisational documentation, policies, and procedures related to nursing practice and youth mental health care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Experience working with young people with mental health issues and their families.
* Knowledge of psychosocial and health needs of individuals and ability to apply nursing principles and procedures in acute youth mental health settings.
