LV MECHANICS / DIESEL MECHANICS - The GULF / FNQ
We're currently hiring qualified LV Mechanics and Diesel Mechanics/Fitters for full-time, permanent roles in the Gulf or Far North Queensland (FNQ). This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, trusted, and stable company.

The successful candidates will possess the following:
* Relevant Trade Qualification
* Diagnostic experience
* Good communication skills
* Experience on trucks and trailers
* Heavy earthmoving experience a bonus
* Strong fault finding skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Truck license preferred
* Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
Your duties will include:
* Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
* General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4's/LVs
* Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
* Checking vehicle lighting systems
* Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
* Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
* Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
