Arrow Foods is a family-run import and wholesale company, specialising in high-quality superfood ingredients, sourced globally. Established in 2011, our client base are wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers. We source over 60+ ingredients, including products like cacao, quinoa, chia, maple syrup and dried fruits, to name a few. To support our growth, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee food safety, compliance, supplier assurance, and continuous improvement across our supply chain. You'll be working within a collaborative and friendly environment. You'll also have the opportunity to travel interstate and represent the company, conducting quality inspections and audits, when required.

The position is designed for a professional capable of managing food safety and compliance across a global supply chain while transitioning the company's quality systems toward GFSI standards, alongside the support of an external consultant.
Core Responsibilities:
* Compliance & Certification: Maintain HACCP programs and ensure strict adherence to FSANZ standards, organic certifications, and labelling regulations. You will lead audits and apply knowledge of international standards such as SQF, BRC, or FSSC22000.
* Upgrade Quality certification to GFSI standards
* Global Supplier Management: Oversee the onboarding and performance verification of overseas suppliers. This includes maintaining CoAs, organic certificates, and allergen statements to ensure product integrity from the source.
* Risk & Quality Control: Develop risk management processes and registers for food safety and operational integrity. You will manage inbound/outbound inspections, product sampling, and sensory evaluations.
* Continuous Improvement: Utilise statistical process analysis to identify quality trends and implement efficiencies in documentation and supplier workflows.
* Technical & NPD Support: Provide technical reviews for new ingredient selections and blends, ensuring formulations meet functional and regulatory requirements (e.g., allergen control, Halal, Kosher).
* Co-ordination of quality audits: Both internal and external.

Qualifications
* Education: A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Nutrition or Science-related field.
* Experience: At least 3–5+ years in food quality or regulatory compliance, ideally with experience in food manufacturing and food imports and exports.
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GFSI frameworks, the Australian regulatory landscape (FSANZ), and organic certification.
* Attributes: A methodical, detail-oriented problem solver with strong stakeholder management skills to influence both internal teams and external partners.
