About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and values-driven Team Leader – Youth Services to lead the implementation, coordination and evaluation of MOSAC's youth programs in Broome and across identified locations in the Kimberley region.

This is a key leadership role responsible for guiding a dedicated youth services team to deliver culturally secure, trauma-informed and community-led programs. You will build and strengthen partnerships with local stakeholders to enhance collaboration and service integration, ensuring programs remain responsive to community needs.

The role plays a central part in promoting the wellbeing, safety and positive development of young people, with a strong focus on cultural connection, resilience and suicide prevention.

This is a Section 50D Aboriginal-identified position.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

* Provide line management supervision, professional guidance and performance support to staff involved in program delivery, mentoring and project activities.
* Lead the oversight, delivery and evaluation of culturally secure youth programs across identified Kimberley locations.
* Coordinate and continuously strengthen MOSAC's youth programs, including Alive and Kicking Goals (AKG) and Together We Ride (TWR).
* Support and oversee the facilitation of training, workshops and activities that strengthen social and emotional wellbeing, resilience and suicide prevention for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
* Ensure all service delivery is grounded in trauma-informed practice, child safeguarding principles and culturally respectful approaches.
* Oversee referral pathways, intake and assessment processes, case management systems and program evaluation to ensure high-quality, accountable service delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

* Demonstrated leadership and supervision experience within youth, community or Aboriginal services.
* Strong program coordination and case management experience, including knowledge of trauma-informed practice and referral pathways.
* Deep cultural capability and the ability to build respectful partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, particularly within the Kimberley context.
* Experience delivering or supporting training and group programs that strengthen emotional wellbeing, resilience and peer leadership.
* Well-developed communication, reporting and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet funding and compliance requirements.
