Job Summary:
Project Accountants play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of projects. This temporary, full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize expertise in project budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking
* Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial information and timely reporting
* Process billing, revenue recognition, accruals, and journal entries efficiently
* Monitor actuals versus budget and prepare detailed variance analysis reports
* Maintain accurate project records within SAP S/4HANA
* Prepare month-end and project-specific financial reports for stakeholders
* Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Provide valuable financial insights and analysis to support project delivery and strategic decision-making
* Requirements and Qualifications:
* CPA or CA qualification is highly preferred
* Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is mandatory
* Strong knowledge of project costing, WIP, and financial reporting principles
* Excellent Excel skills and data analysis capabilities
* Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
